High-speed Thunderbolt™ 3 with SMB protocol, allowing Mac® and Windows® users to collaborate on media editing. 5-speed 10GBASE-T RJ45 connectivity accelerates virtualization applications and file sharing across teams and devices. PCIe expandability allows the use of an entry-level graphics card to accelerate NAS video processing and GPU computing. Install M.2 PCIe (Gen 3 x2, 2 GB/s) NVMe SSDs (sold separately) to set up caching or storage pools, improving file access efficiency. 4K media playback and real-time transcoding; directly view creative works on an HDTV via HDMI 2.0 (4K @60Hz) output. Snapshots fully record system status and data, allowing you to protect files and data from accidental deletion and malware attacks.
Fast and flexible Thunderbolt™ 3 and 10GBASE-T connectivity The TVS-672XT adopts the powerful 8th generation Intel® Core™ i3 8100T quad-core 3.1 GHz processor with 8 GB dual-channel DDR4 memory (upgradable to 32 GB) to deliver outstanding performance. It provides two Gigabit and one 5-speed 10GBASE-T port (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M), supports SATA 6Gb/s drives, and features AES-NI encryption for delivering high performance while also maintaining the security of your data. You can also connect USB Type-C devices through the Thunderbolt™ 3 ports to transfer large media files across devices, providing you with a more efficient workflow.
Note: Mac OS 10.11.5 (and later) enables SMB signing by default, which may impact the connection speed to the NAS. To improve the connection speed, users can disable SMB signing or use Qfinder Pro to connect to the NAS.
